Meet Lindsay Aughton: Owner and loving pet mom

Are your fur babies just like your actual children? For me, they absolutely are. My name is Lindsay Aughton, and I’ve been blessed with three wonderful, charming, and uniquely inquisitive cats: Baby Bear, Gemini, and Papi Chulo.

My journey as a pet mom began 23 years ago with a tiny tuxedo kitten named Baby Bear. From the moment he darted out his foster parent’s house and scrambled up a tree in the front yard, I knew my life was about to change forever. That spunky little kitten quickly became my loyal companion and, as it turns out, my last “man standing” of the trio.

At one time, my household was graced by three sweet kitties. Papi Chulo, my second cat, was a Maine Coon with a gentle giant’s heart. Despite his impressive 18-pound frame, he was the most docile and patient of souls, allowing even young children to tug at his fur without a fuss. Tragically, Papi Chulo crossed the rainbow bridge too soon, at just six years old, due to renal failure.

Gemini, my third kitty, came into my life when Baby Bear and Papi Chulo were both young. She was a frail, flea-covered, emaciated four-pound kitten when I found her.

With time, love, and the companionship of her new brothers, she blossomed into a confident and affectionate feline. Gemini was my little princess, always making sure she was the center of attention and ensuring she got pets before her brothers. She lived a full life, reaching 17 years before a cancer diagnosis impacted her quality of life, and she, too, crossed the rainbow bridge.

I share the stories of my beloved cats not just because they were my own, but to give you insight into the depth of my love and commitment to animals. While my experience is deeply rooted in caring for cats, my passion for animals extends to all kinds, including dogs, rabbits, ferrets, iguanas, birds, and more.

At Lindsay’s Loving Pet Care Services, we provide attentive and loving care for a broad range of animals when you’re not there. Whether your pets are furry, feathered, or scaly, they will receive the same care and affection that I give to my own beloved companions.
